7. Rollerblades
If you want to get around and get some exercise, these throwbacks are a favorite and are still vogue. Made popular in the 90’s, Rollerblades take some practice but once you get the hang, which shouldn’t take too long, you can slip and slide around campus or anywhere. Its frame is aluminum, a definite upgrade from plastic, but the wheels are hit or miss. You might need to pick up better ones. However, some stay happy with the stock rollers.
